Viewing Scores for Assignments

After you complete any assignment, and click the Submit All Questions button, you will get a score report for the just completed assignment.  Similar score reports are provided in assignment reports, for each completed question in an assignment.

For all assignments you do, the score reports will be saved and can be viewed at any time, as long as you are logged into your Edcite account when submitting the assignment.  If you do an assignment or question as an anonymous user that is not logged into Edcite, your scores will not be saved and cannot be viewed later.

Opening Assignment Scores

You can open and view score reports for current or old assignments at any time.  To do that, go to your Edcite page and click on Show Assignments.  Then Click on the Report button for the desired assignment, which will be available if the assignment has been submitted. Otherwise open the desired assignment, which brings up the Assignment page.  From there you can view score reports for the assignment, which may be incomplete if all questions have not been submitted.

Score Report Information

Score reports for each assignment have a similar format.  The report provides a summary of the submission, and the detailed scores for each question (item) in the assignment.  At the end of the report you'll find notes from teachers as well as a record of score changes made by teachers.  This section will only apply to questions that are part of an assignment.

The summary information for the report has the name of the assignment, your score, the total score (i.e. the maximum possible score), and the time taken for the assignment.

The detailed information has the score information for each item (question) in the assignment.  For each item, the item number, a link to open the item, your percentage score for the item, the points for the item, and further details for the scoring of the item.  The item detailed scoring depends on the type of item, e.g. for multiple choice questions you'll find the correct choices and points for each of the correct choices, as well as information on your answers and whether they were correct or wrong.

This scoring detail for each item varies with each type of item.
